I haven't been doing any sewing, whatsoever. *sigh*
I do have plans, though! Baby bedding is up first on the list. After that, I have a growing list of post-belly items.
This is the reason I've had no energy to do anything:
I'm 36 weeks now, incredibly uncomfortable, and chasing at 3 and 5-year-old at the same time. Some day I promise I'll have something creative to show you. Right now, I need a nap. :)

Oh gosh, the last 4 weeks seem to take forever. And in the summer heat too. You deserve a nap! No worries about the lack of sewing- your busy with the most creative project there is!
ReplyDeleteNOthing more creative than making a person! You look beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI've never understood sewing baby bedding...my babes hardly slept in a crib anyway, it's just so much easier to share a sleep space. But then I see gorgeous photos of baby nurseries all done up with everything matching and clean and pretty....
Have you thought about sewing baby carriers? A pouch, in a stretch fabric, is easy to sew and use (though some experts don't like them with newborns). A mei tai will last much longer though. I love the "FrankenKozy" style with wide straps and no padding. I really miss babywearing!!
Thanks, Karin! It's exhausting creating a human! ;)
ReplyDeleteI appreciate the compliment, Tracy. :) I definitely don't do co-sleeping. I'd never get a moments rest! ;) Plus, getting to decorate a nursery is part of the fun!
